Consultant for a Day

For those who are in need of short-term expert assistance rather than a full-blown play space design project, the Consultant for a Day Service is perfect for you! Bring Playfulnest on board for a full day or half day to assist with any of your play-related needs. We can help with things such as:

• providing a developmental screening of your children - this is basically a mini play date with your children during which time we will learn about their interests and developmental abilities. This will guides us in making personalized recommendations for your unique children and play spaces!

• clearing out play items no longer developmentally appropriate - we love helping clients eliminate toy clutter! Research shows that children are more focused and engaged in play when their play environments are not overloaded with toys. Let us help you create an organized play space, intentionally stocked with items beneficial for play! Have a professional organizer that you love? Great! We love to collaborate!

• setting up organizational/toy rotation systems

• providing personalized recommendations for specific items that will add play value and be beneficial for child development

• sourcing recommended items and providing links for client to purchase

• making simple modifications to existing spaces such as changing layout

• instructing parents and caregivers on how to get the most out of their play spaces and really connect with children

• collaborating with interior designers to ensure kids’ spaces are developmentally appropriate and functional

Price of service:

Full day (8 hours) = $1800

Half day (4 hours) = $900

*Price includes travel time for those living within 5 miles radius of Venice, CA. Travel further than 5 miles will incur a travel fee.
